Taking an exposure

Ask the patient to remain as still as possible. Move as far
away from the X-ray tube as the length of the cable from
the control panel permits. The distance must be at least 2
meters (6.6 ft) from the X-ray tube.

area while the exposure is taken.

Press and hold down the exposure key on the control
panel for the duration of the exposure.
The exposure warning light will come on. You will also
hear the radiation warning tone during the exposure.
