6.0 Settings, application A230.2
6.1 Flow temperature
APPLICATION A230.2:
The desired flow temperature is set in 'Des. T comfort' and 'Des. T
saving'. Set values for comfort mode could for example be 7.5 °C
and for saving mode 25 °C.
Alternatively the desired flow temperature can be set by applying
an external signal. The choice is set in 'Ext. signal'.
Externally applied signal for desired flow temperature (appl.
A230.2):
An external signal can be connected (applied) to the ECL controller
in order to set the desired flow temperature remotely.
The signal is a 0 - 10 volt signal, applied directly to input S8. The
measured voltage on input S8 must be converted to a temperature
value by the controller.
The following settings set up the scaling and influence.

The remotely set value for the desired flow temperature is indicated by the
unit °C.
Push the dial to see the graph and enter the value sets for the input
voltage (0 and 10 volt) and displayed desired flow temperature.

Factory settings:
This means that the 'Ext. desired T' is 5.0 °C. at 1 V and 25.0 °C at
10 V.

OFF:
The desired flow temperature is set in the controller.
ON:
The desired flow temperature is applied as a 0 - 10 V
signal.

This example shows that 1 volt corresponds to 5.0 °C and 10 volt correspond
to 25.0 °C.
A value for the desired flow temperature is only indicated when 'Ext.
signal' is set to ON. The indication ' -- ' means that 'Ext. signal' is set
to OFF.
See 'Ext. desired T'. The value is an externally set desired flow
temperature.
