5.5 coolant temperature and moisture condensation
The inlet temperature may not exceed 40°C. The maximum heat sink temperature is
90°C or 95°C depending on the power unit and overload capacity
a safe operation the coolant output temperature must be 10K below this temperature.
Due to high air humidity and high temperatures it can lead to moisture condensation.
Moisture condensation is dangerous for the drive converter, because the drive converter
can be destroyed by possible short-circuits.
The user must guarantee that any moisture condensation is avoided!
In order to avoid moisture condensation, there are the following possibilities.
Supply of temper coolant
This is possible by using heatings in the cooling circuit for the control of the coolant tem-
perature. The following dew point table is available for this:
