6.4.2 Connecting via a Network Hub, Switch, or Router

You can connect the Ethernet port of the VP-88K to the Ethernet port on a network
hub, switch, or router, via a straight-through cable with RJ-45 connectors. The VP-
88K Ethernet port has to be configured to be compatible with your network (see
Section 6.4.3
6.4.3 Configuring the Ethernet Port on the VP-88K
To configure the Ethernet port on the VP-88K, download the P3K Ethernet
Configuration software
software.
To configure the VP-88K Ethernet port:
1. Click Start > All Programs > Kramer > P3K Wizard
The P3K Wizard window appears.
2. Click Connect.
The Connect window appears.
