1 Connect your com put er t o any Et hernet port on t he Swit ch. Make sure your com put er is in t he sam e
subnet as t he Swit ch.
2 Open your web browser and ent er 192.168.1.1 ( t he default I P address) in t he address bar t o access
t he web configurat or. See
3 Click Ba sic Se t t ing > I P Se t u p in t he
navigat ion panel.
4 Configure t he relat ed fields in t he I P Se t u p
screen.
5 For t he VLAN 2 net work, ent er 192.168.2.1 as
t he I P address and 255.255.255.0 as t he
subnet m ask.

I n t he VI D field, ent er t he I D of t he VLAN group
t o which you want t his m anagem ent I P address
t o belong. This is t he sam e as t he VLAN I D you
configure in t he St a t ic VLAN screen.
7 Click Add t o save your changes back t o t he run-
t im e m em ory. Set t ings in t he run- t im e m em ory
are lost when t he Swit ch's power is t urned off.
