ident ificat ion only.
Act ion Select D isca r d sou r ce t o drop t he fram es from t he source MAC address ( specified in t he M AC
field) . The Swit ch can st ill send fram es t o t he MAC address.
Select D isca r d de st in a t ion t o drop t he fram es t o t he dest inat ion MAC address ( specified in
t he M AC address) . The Swit ch can st ill receive fram es originat ing from t he MAC address.
Select D isca r d sou r ce and D isca r d de st in a t ion t o block t raffic t o/ from t he MAC address
specified in t he M AC field.
MAC Type a MAC address in valid MAC address form at , t hat is, six hexadecim al charact er pairs.
VI D Type t he VLAN group ident ificat ion num ber.
Add Click Add t o save your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses t hese
changes if it is t urned off or loses power, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op navigat ion panel t o
save your changes t o t he non- volat ile m em ory when you are done configuring.
Cancel Click Ca nce l t o reset t he fields t o your previous configurat ion.
Clear Click Cle a r t o clear t he fields t o t he fact ory default s.
I ndex This field displays t he index num ber of t he rule. Click an index num ber t o change t he set t ings.
Act ive This field displays Ye s when t he rule is act ivat ed and N o when is it deact ivat ed.
Nam e This field displays t he descript ive nam e for t his rule. This is for ident ificat ion purpose only.
MAC Address This field displays t he source/ dest inat ion MAC address wit h t he VLAN ident ificat ion num ber t o
which t he MAC address belongs.
VI D This field displays t he VLAN group ident ificat ion num ber.
Select an ent ry's check box t o select a specific ent ry. Ot herwise, select t he check box in t he
t able heading row t o select all ent ries.
Delet e Check t he rule( s) t hat you want t o rem ove and t hen click t he D e le t e but t on.
Cancel Click Ca nce l t o clear t he select ed checkbox( es) .
