● "Low speed derating frequency" means that when the frequency is higher than
[E4.04], the allowed continuous current is the rated current [S2.04]. When the fre‐
quency is lower than [E4.04], the allowed continuous current is linear reduced to
zero speed load [S2.23] at standstill.
● "Zero speed load" means the allowed continuous current (percent of rated current)
at standstill.
At low speed, the cooling of most motors may get worse, so the allowed continuous
current is getting lower. In this case, the allowed time for overload is getting shorter. For
a motor with external cooling, zero speed load [E4.05] is set to 100 %, and the low
speed derating is switched off.
Example:

● Zero speed load [E4.05]=25 %
