● P: Proportion gain
– Decides the gain of deviation.
– Larger P means larger scale and faster response, but too large P leads to oscilla‐
tion.
– P cannot eliminate deviation completely.
● Ti: Integral time
– Used to eliminate the deviation
Smaller Ti means faster response of frequency converter to deviation changes,
but too small Ti leads to oscillation.
– Special case: If Ti=0, I component is disabled.
