It is recommended that one of these cables be used to connect the RS-232C port on the Option Board to
the NT-AL001 RS-232C/RS-422 Link Adapter. The recommended wiring for these cables is shown below.

(2) The XW2Z-070T-1 and XW2Z-200T-1 Connecting Cables for the NT-AL001 Link Adapter uses spe-
cial wiring for the DTS and RTS signals. Do not use these signals with other devices; they may be
damaged.
(3) The Hood (FG) is internally connected to the ground terminal (GR) on the CPU Unit. Therefore, FG
is grounded by grounding the ground terminal (GR) on the power supply terminal block.
