Ethernet - Direct
Connection
To connect with a PLC via Ethernet, there are two types of hardware connec-
tions that can be used (Refer to 6-3 Network Installation). These are
described in the following table.

Ethernet - Direct connection

The Ethernet port on the computer is
connected directly to the Ethernet port
on the PLC with a twisted-pair cable.

A standard protocol for host computers
with HUB connection only.
When the Ethernet port on the computer is connected directly to the Ethernet
port on the PLC with a twisted-pair cable, this mode can be selected as the
connection method.
In this mode, user need not change the IP setting in PC side.
