Chain dialing

Use this feature to initiate a dialing sequence from numbers stored in the
directory, call log or redial while you are on a call.
Chain dialing can be useful if you wish to access other numbers (such as bank
account numbers or access codes) from the directory, call log or redial list.
To access a number in the directory while on a call:
1.
Press MENU/

Press CID or DIR to highlight Directory, then press
3.
Press
/SELECT to select Home directory.

4.
Press CID or DIR to scroll to the desired entry or perform an
alphabetical search (page 57).
5.
Press
/SELECT to dial the displayed number.

To access a number in the call log while on a call:
1.
Press MENU/

Press CID or DIR to highlight Call log, then press
3.
Press CID or DIR to scroll to the desired entry.
4.
Press
/SELECT to dial the displayed number.

To access the redial list while on a call:
1.
Press REDIAL/
.
PAUSE
2.
Press DIR, CID or REDIAL/
PAUSE
press
/SELECT. If you do not press
MENU
the number displayed will be dialed automatically.
NOTES:
1.
You cannot edit a directory entry while on a call. For more details about the directory,
see page 53.
2.
You cannot copy a caller ID entry into the directory while on a call. For more details
about the caller ID history, see page 60.
3.
You can only view the numbers in the directory, call log or redial while on a call and
cannot erase any entries.
4.
Press
OFF/
to exit redial, directory or caller log and return while on a call.

Redial stack

The handset stores the twenty numbers (up to 30 digits each) recently called
from this handset in the redial list.

Review the redial list

1.
Press REDIAL/
in idle mode.
PAUSE
2.
Press CID, DIR or REDIAL/
PAUSE
desired number displays. The handset beeps twice at
the end of the list.
Press
OFF/
to exit.
CLEAR

Dial a redial entry

1.
Press
HOME/
or
SPEAKER, then press
FLASH
REDIAL/
repeatedly to view the redial memory. The
PAUSE
displayed number you view for over two seconds will be
automatically dialed out.

1.
Press REDIAL/
in idle mode.
PAUSE
2.
Press CID, DIR or REDIAL/
PAUSE
displays. The handset beeps twice at the end of the list.
3.
Press
HOME/
or
SPEAKER to use the home line.
