E6, Indoor unit. (Communication Fault)
Indoor Standby LED, flash 6 times.
Yellow-D5 LED, Outdoor unit Off.
Orange-D6 LED, Outdoor unit. Off.
Green-D16 LED, Outdoor unit Off.
Red-D30 LED, Outdoor unit Flashing.
# Disconnect the main power supply to the indoor unit by means of the isolation switch. After
approximately one minute, turn the power supply back on & attempt to operate the unit in "Auto"
mode with a set temperature of two degrees above or below the ambient temperature.
If the Communication fault has not cleared:
# Check for DC voltage at the following points on the outdoor PCB, while in Standby Mode.
Note: The following DC voltage checks can only be conducted within a 5 minute time frame, as
supply power to the outdoor PCB will be cut 5 minutes after initial power up.
Between the Negative & Positive points of the capacitor.
Note: Voltage range should be: (+/- 15%) 56V-DC.
Between GND & C36.
Note: Voltage range should be: 0 to 3.3V-DC.
Between GND & R75.
Note: Voltage range should be: 0 to 3.3V-DC.
Between GND & U12.
Note: Voltage range should be: 0 to 3.3V-DC.
Between GND & U15.
Note: Voltage range should be: 25 to 55V-DC.
Note: These voltage points are located at the bottom right hand side of the outdoor PCB.
