L3 fault continues:
# Check the condenser fan for correct operation. If the fan motor is not operating check the five pin
DC-Motor connector plug for correct termination to the outdoor PCB.
# Remove the five pin DC-Motor connector plug & check the resistance value from the points
illustrated below.
KSV53HRB:
Blue & Orange (11 K ohms)
Blue & Grey (11 K ohms)
Blue & Brown (11 K ohms)
KSV62HRC, KSV70CRC, KSV70HRC & KSV80HRC:
Blue & Orange (11 K ohms)
Blue & Grey (11 K ohms)
Blue & Brown (5 K ohms)
Note: If the resistance values of the fan motor are okay, replace the outdoor PCB.
Note: These resistance values may vary in accordance to capacity & ambient temperatures.
DC-Motor connector plug located under
outdoor PCB. Five pin connector Plug, DC Fan
Motor.
