Step4 Fasten the captive screws on the MIM with a flat-blade screwdriver.

Step5 Check the corresponding slot LED on the front panel. After the MIM is initialized, if the LED is
on, the MIM is correctly installed and operates normally; if the LED is off, the MIM failed the self-
test.
Removing a MIM
Follow these steps to remove a MIM:
Step1 Position the router so that the rear panel of the router faces you.
Step2 Loosen the captive screws on the MIM with a flat-blade screwdriver.

Step3 Pull the MIM out of the slot along the slide rails.
