Switch the system on (connect main power supply).

Rotate the exhausted or clogged 0.2 μm final
filter in a clockwise position to remove it.

Unpack the new 0.2 μm final filter and screw it
into the bottom 1/4" thread on the sampling tap.
Vent final filter and rinse 500 ml through it.
Autoclaving the 0.2 m final filter

Rotate the used 0.2 μm final filter in a clockwise
direction to remove it.

Use an autoclave to sterilize the 0.2 μm final filter
in a steam autoclave at 121C° for 30 minutes.
You can repeat the sterilization process for the
sterile filter up to 5 times.
When sterilization is completed, screw the 0.2
μm final filter back into the 1/4" thread on the
sampling tap (see

The lifetime of the 0.2 μm final filter can be prolonged by sterilizing it. Proceed as
follows to autoclave the sterile filter.

too low, this is an indication that the sterile filter is
