Changing the Engine Oil and Oil Filter
Service Interval: After the first 5 hours/After the first
month (whichever comes first)—For
Toro engines—change the engine
oil and filter.
Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever comes
first)—For Toro engines—change the engine
oil and oil filter (more often in dusty, dirty
conditions).
Note:
Dispose of the used oil at a recycling center.
1. Park the machine on a level surface to ensure
the oil drains completely.
2. Disengage the PTO and engage the parking
brake.
3. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
4. Drain the engine oil (Figure 67).
