Four standard interfaces are equipped for IT5101: GPIB, USB, LAN and RS232.
Users can choose any of the USB, GPIB, RS232 and LAN to achieve the
communication with PC.
5.1 USB Interface
Use a cable with two USB ports to connect internal resistance tester and
PC.You can program through USB interface to achieve all functions of internal
resistance tester.

5.2 GPIB Interface
Use a IEEE488 bus to connect GPIB interfaces of internal resistance tester and
PC.Please ensure that the screws have been screwed down in order to have a
full connection.Then press [Menu] to enter the system menu and press [Comm
Set] to set the GPIB address.The address range of internal resistance tester is
0-99. After you set the address,please press[Enter] button to confirm. GPIB
address is saved in nonvolatile memory.
5.3 LAN Interface
Press[Menu] > [Comm Set] button to enter the system set. Please select "LAN"
in the Communication from System and then configure Gateway, IP, Mask and
SocketPort in the LAN option.
Connect the LAN interface of internal resistance tester to the computer with a
reticle (crossed). The gateway address should be consistent with that of the PC,
and the IP address should be at the same network segment with the PC's IP
address.

Receive the following request: REN_CONTROL, GO_TO_LOCAL, and
LOCAL_LOCKOUT
When the interface receives MsgID = TRIGGER USBTMC command,it
will transmit the TRIGGER command to the function layer
