STARTING UP

5.2.1

SAFETY NOTES

Every time before starting up the following points should be observed as laid down in the
operating instructions:
- That it is possible to observe the safety regulations in chap. 2.
- The starting up procedure, has been carried out properly.

Danger to life from injecting paint or solvent

Toxic and/or flammable vapor mixtures!
Risk of poisoning and burns

Gas mixtures can explode if there is an incompletely filled
pump!

Never reach into the spray jet.
Never point the spray gun at people.
Consult a doctor immediately in the event of skin injuries caused
by paint or solvent. Inform the doctor about the paint or solvent
used.
Never seal defective high-pressure parts, instead relieve the
pressure from them and replace.
Operate the unit in a spraying booth approved for the working
materials.

Operate the unit on an appropriate spraying wall with the
ventilation (extraction) switched on.
Observe national and local regulations for the outgoing air
speed.
Ensure that the pump and suction system are always completely
filled with cleaning agent or working medium.
Do not spray the unit empty after cleaning.
