The same dialog box shown above appears when you select Set EDID.
2. Select an EDID to assign to the 980 DP Video Generator / Analyzer's Rx port. Click Ok after selecting the
EDID.
Note that there are two checkbox options on the dialog box. The following is a description of each:
 Permanently set the Analyzer's EDID – This means that the EDID that you provision will persist through a
reboot of the 980. Otherwise the default 980 EDID will be reprovisioned when a reboot occurs.
 Issue Hot Plug – This means that 980 DP Analyzer will issue a hot plug when you click the OK activation
button on this dialog box.
3. (optional) Set the Hot Plug duration and generator a hot plug. Access the Rx Control and Configuration
dialog box from the Tools flyout menu. The Rx Control and Configuration dialog box is shown below:
