Rear Handle
Handle for the operator's right hand.

Throttle Trigger Lockout
Must be depressed before the
throttle trigger can be activated.

Throttle Trigger
Controls the speed of the engine.

Slide Control
For starting, running and stopping
the machine. Keeps the throttle
partially open during starting and
turns off the ignition to stop the
engine.

Starter Grip
The grip of the pull cord for starting
the engine.

Carburetor Adjusting Screws
For adjusting the carburetor.

Fuel Filler Cap
For closing the fuel tank opening.

Water Attachment
For connecting the water supply
when wet cutting.

Brake Lever
For releasing the wheel brake after

For adjusting the position of the

The cutting attachment, either

Distributes clamping pressure of
mounting nut evenly over cutting
wheel.

Covers a portion of the wheel,
reducing the risk of injury from
kickback and inadvertent contact by
the operator and captures and re-
directs sparks, cutting debris or
wheel fragments.

Reduces engine exhaust noises
and diverts exhaust gases away
from operator.
15 Spark Arresting Screen
Designed to reduce the risk of fire
from exhaust sparks.
16 Front Handle
Handle for the left hand.
17 Spark Plug Boot
Connects the spark plug to the
ignition lead.
18 Choke Lever
Eases starting by adjusting the fuel
mixture.
19 Manual Fuel Pump
Provides additional fuel feed for a
cold start.
20 Filter Cover
Covers and protects the air filter
element.

Couples the engine to the belt
pulleys when the engine is
accelerated beyond idle speed.

The mechanism that drives the
ribbed belts and the abrasive cutting
wheel.
Anti-Vibration System (Not

The anti-vibration system includes a
number of elements designed to
reduce the transmission of vibration
created by the engine and cutting
process to the operator.
