If one of the V-ribbed belts continues to
slip or squeak during acceleration or
operation, and the abrasive cutting
wheel either stops in the cut or there is a
loss of cutting performance, one or more
of the belts is likely worn, and the brake
may not operate properly.
Stop work immediately and contact

Electronic Water Control

This machine is equipped with an
electronic water control system.
The electronic water control makes it
possible to feed variable amounts of
water to the cutting wheel. No water is
fed to the cutting wheel during idling or
when the machine is turned off.
Before starting work
While the engine is shut off,

familiarize yourself with the control
panel for the water control system
and the sequence of motions
needed to operate it.
All control panel buttons can be
N
reached with the thumb of the right
hand while the right hand remains
on the rear handle.
The left hand must always remain
N
on the front handle. Failure to do so
may result in loss of control and
severe personal injury or death of
the operator or bystanders.
Control panel
When the engine is running, the
operator can activate/deactivate the
electronic water control and adjust the
water flow.

Activates the electronic water
control; increases water flow to
cutting wheel.

Activates the electronic water
control; decreases water flow to
cutting wheel.

Deactivates the electronic water
control; no water is fed to the cutting
wheel.
The water control system has 9 levels.
The highest flow setting is obtained by
pressing the (+) control button on the
water control panel 9 times in
succession or holding the (+) control
button for 5 seconds. If you press the
(+) button more than 9 times, it will
remain at the highest setting. Press the
(-) button to reduce the water flow.
