Adjustment
Warning
Use only DOT 4 specification brake
and clutch fluid as listed in the
specification section of this handbook.
The use of brake and clutch fluids
other than those DOT 4 fluids listed in
the specification section may reduce
the efficiency of the clutch system
leading to an accident.
Failure to change the brake and clutch
fluid at the interval specified in the
scheduled maintenance chart may
reduce clutch efficiency resulting in
an accident.
Inspect the level of brake and clutch
fluid in the reservoir and change the
fluid in accordance with the scheduled
maintenance requirements. Use only
DOT 4 fluid as recommended in the
specification section. The brake and
clutch fluid must also be changed if it
becomes, or is suspected of having
become contaminated with moisture or
any other contaminants.
The brake and clutch fluid in the
reservoir must be kept between the
upper and lower level lines (reservoir
held horizontal).
Release the fixings securing the clutch
reservoir cover, then remove the cover
noting the position of the diaphragm
