BLANK ON REFERENCE UNLOCK. This menu item is available only for the
BLACK 2 output. Use the left (◄) or right (►) arrow button to select Enabled
or Disabled for the blanking function when a loss of lock to the reference signal
is detected. When enabled, the BLACK 2 output will be blanked for as long as
the loss of lock condition occurs. The purpose of this function is to trigger a
downstream change-over unit.
NOTE.
When the BLACK 2 output is configured to blank on the loss of reference
lock, the output should not be used for normal reference applications.
BLANK ON REFERENCE UNLOCK DELAY. This menu item is available only for the
BLACK 2 output. When the Blank on Reference Unlock function is enabled, use
this menu item to set the amount of time delay before the BLACK 2 output will be
blanked when a loss of lock to the reference signal is detected. The purpose of the
delay is to reduce false alarms by allowing a set amount of time for the loss of
lock condition to clear before the BLACK 2 output is blanked.
Press the ENTER button and then use the arrow buttons to set the delay in
HH:MM:SS. Use the left (◄) or right (►) arrow button to select a time digit and
then use the up (▲) or down (▼) arrow button to set the value of the time digit.
After you edit the time delay, press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
HD TRI-LEVEL SYNC RATE. Press the BLACK button repeatedly to select the
desired BLACK output (1–5) or to select the desired group of BLACK outputs
(1–3 or 4–5) for which to set the HD tri-level sync rate.
NOTE.
The BLACK outputs 1–3 are a group that must use the same HD tri-level
sync rate (integer or non-integer). Likewise, the BLACK outputs 4–5 (Option BG
only) are a group that must use the same HD tri-level sync rate. Both groups can
output the same rate or they can output different rates.
The HD tri-level sync rate setting limits which signal formats are available for
the selected group of BLACK outputs.
Use the left (◄) or right (►) arrow button to select Non-Integer (59.94, 29.97,
23.98) or Integer (60, 50, 30, 25, 24). Press the ENTER button to enable the
selection.
