TIME button menu

TIME OF DAY. Sets the time of day reference that will be used by the instrument.
The possible reference choices change depending on the selected reference source
(See page 57, REF button menu.).
Select this menu item and press the ENTER button to access the TIME OF DAY
submenu. (See page 169.)
TIME ZONE OFFSET. Sets the time zone offset for your location in reference to
UTC. Select this menu item and press the ENTER button to enter the edit mode.
To edit the offset, use the left (◄) or right (►) arrow button to select a digit in
the offset value to change. An underline character appears under the selected
offset digit. The date and time digits take the following form: ±HH:MM. After
you select the offset polarity or an offset digit, use the up (▲) or down (▼) arrow
button to change the polarity or the value of the digit. Repeat for each digit as
required for your local offset. Press the ENTER button to confirm the offset
change.
NOTE.
When the DST schedule is set to Once and the DST event occurs, the
scheduled offset will be added to the time zone offset and the DST schedule will be
cleared. This allows for a new schedule to be set up for any time in the future.

DST SCHEDULE. Configures how the instrument handles Daylight Saving
Time. Select this menu item and press the ENTER button to access the DST
SCHEDULE submenu. (See page 172.)
PROGRAM TIME. Configures the program time parameters for the instrument.
Select this menu item and press the ENTER button to access the PROGRAM
TIME submenu. (See page 174.)
Program time is used to create time code that is not locked to time of day. This is
useful if the time code is intended to start at a uniform time for multiple takes of
a production.
JAM SYNC. Configures the parameters for the Jam Sync function. Use the
function to immediately synchronize the instrument timecode with the selected
time source for each output or to regularly schedule a synchronization. Select this
menu item and press the ENTER button to access the JAM SYNC submenu.

LEAP SECOND. Schedules when the instrument applies leap seconds (Option
GPS only). When Option GPS is installed and GPS is selected as the reference
source in the REF button menu, select this menu item and press the ENTER
button to access the LEAP SECOND submenu. (See page 178.)
