CHECKING THE FUEL HOSES AND FUEL FILTER

CHECKING THE FUEL HOSES AND FUEL
FILTER
The following procedure applies to all of the fuel
hoses.
1.Remove:
S rider seat
S fuel tank
Refer to "RIDER
SEATS" and "FUEL TANK".
2. Remove:
S left side cover
S right side cover
3. Remove:
S rear inner cover
4. Check:
S fuel hose 1
Cracks/damage ! Replace.
S fuel filter 2
Damage/dirt ! Replace.
NOTE:
S Drain and flush the fuel tank if abrasive dam-
age to any components of the fuel line is evi-
dent.
S The arrow mark a on the fuel filter should face
to the side of the fuel pump 3 .
5. Install:
S rear inner cover
6. Install:
S left side cover
S right side cover
