CHECKING THE CRANKCASE BREATHER HOSE

CHECKING THE FUEL HOSES AND FUEL
FILTER
The following procedure applies to all of the
fuel hoses.
1. Remove:
• rider seat
Refer to "SEATS AND SIDE COVERS".
2. Check:
• fuel hose 1
Cracks/damage → Replace.
• fuel filter 2
Contaminants/damage → Replace.
NOTE:

• Drain and flush the fuel tank if abrasive dam-
age to any components of the fuel line is evi-
dent.
• The arrow mark on the fuel filter must point
towards the fuel pump 3 as shown.

3. Install:
• rider seat
Refer to "SEATS AND SIDE COVERS".

1. Check:
• crankcase breather hose 1
Cracks/damage → Replace.
Loose connection → Connect properly.
CAUTION:
@
Make sure the crankcase breather hose is
routed correctly.
