CHANGING THE COOLANT
6. Remove:
S coolant drain bolt (radiator) 1
(along with the copper washer)
S coolant drain bolt (water pump) 2
(along with the copper washer)
7. Remove:
S drain plugs (cylinders) 1
Drain the coolant.
NOTE:
To remove the drain plug (cylinder) screw a
spark plug into the threaded hole and pull on the
spark plug.
8. Drain:
S coolant
(from the engine and radiator)
9. Check:
S rubber washer 1 (coolant drain bolt-radiator
2 )
S copper washer 3 (coolant drain bolt-water
pump 4 )
Damage ! Replace.
10. Install:
S drain plugs (cylinders)
S coolant drain bolt (radiator)
S coolant drain bolt (water pump)
11. Fill:
S cooling system
(with the specified amount of the recom-
mended coolant)
Recommended antifreeze
High-quality ethylene glycol
antifreeze containing corrosion
inhibitors for aluminum engines
Mix ratio
50 % antifreeze/50 % water
