ASSEMBLING THE CRANKCASE

1. Install:
S shaft 1
S Idler gear (oil pump) 2
S circlip 3
New
2. Install:
S bracket (timing chain damper) 1
S oil pipe 2
NOTE:
R
Apply LOCTITE
3. Install:
S drain plugs (cylinders) 2
4. Install:
S oil pipe 1
S rubber gaskets 2
S crankcase breather spacer 3
S crankcase breather cover 4
WARNING
Always use new O-rings.
5. Install:
S crankcase breather assembly 4
4-74
ENG
24 Nm (2.4 mSkg)
18 Nm (1.8 mSkg)
to the bracket bolt.
New
10 Nm (1.0 mSkg)
