CHECKING THE FUEL HOSES AND FUEL FILTER/

CHECKING THE CARBURETOR JOINTS
The following procedure applies to all of the car-
buretor joints and intake manifolds.
1. Remove:
S carburetor assembly
Refer to "CARBURETORS" in chapter 6.
2. Check:
S carburetor joint 1
Cracks/damage ! Replace.
Refer to "CARBURETORS" in chapter 6.
3. Install:
S carburetor assembly
Refer to "CARBURETORS" in chapter 6.

CHECKING THE FUEL HOSES AND FUEL
FILTER
The following procedure applies to all of the fuel
hoses.
1. Remove:
S fuel tank
Refer to "FUEL TANK".
2. Check:
S fuel hose 1
Cracks/damage ! Replace.
S fuel filter 2
Contaminants/damage ! Replace.
NOTE:
S Drain and flush the fuel tank if abrasive dam-
age to any components of the fuel line is evi-
dent.
S The arrow mark on the fuel filter must point to-
wards the fuel pump as shown.
3. Install:
S fuel tank
Refer to "FUEL TANK".
