3) Connect the other ends of the power cable to the external rectifier socket of the Of-
ficeServ 7400 chassis (Figure 4.3).
4) Switch on the power to the system chassis.
5) Switch on the power to the external rectifier.

External Battery Connected to an External Rectifier
An external battery connected to an external rectifier should have the same ca-
pacity as that of the OfficeServ 7400 system. In addition, the procedure and the
precautions to take are the same. For details of the capacity of the external bat-
tery, refer to 4.1 Connecting External Batteries.
Caution when Connecting Rectifier
This terminal is for the connection of the external power source for PoE only.
