3.4 Connecting Power Backup Lines

If AC power fails while no battery is connected, connect a power backup circuit by con-
necting C.O. lines to extensions.
If a pair of C.O. lines (8TRK) is connected to pin1 and pin2 of the first port of the 16SLI
module, lines are connected to phones through pins 4 and 5 of the 8TRK module. If power
fails, emergency calls can still be made.
