Linux Environment

Follow these steps to update the firmware:
1. Copy the new firmware to the controller using an scp or sftp client. The username is firmware
and the password is Firmware (Note that entries are case-sensitive).
For example:
scp sgi-flash-1825-opt.tgz firmware@10.32.31.240:
2. At the CLUI prompt, enter this command :
UPDATE_FIRMWARE CONTROLLER=<controller-id> FILE="<file-specification>"
For example:
UPDATE_FIRMWARE CONTROLLER=LOCAL FILE="sgi-flash-1825-opt.tgz"
(Note that the file name must be enclosed within double quotation marks.)
