Enclosure Chassis

The chassis assembly contains 60 drive bays at the front, each of which accommodates a plug-in
drive module capable of holding a 3.5-inch SAS or SATA hard disk drive (HDD) or solid-state disk
(SDD). The 60 drive bays are arranged in five rows of twelve drives (5x12)
chassis assembly contains two (2) power cooling modules and two (2) controllers
The chassis is fitted with 19-inch rack mounting features which enables it to be installed into 19-inch
wide racks and uses four (4) EIA units of rack space. A mid-plane separates the front and back of the
chassis and provides the interconnect system between the power cooling modules, controllers, and
the baseboard.
