Installing the lower triple clamp

Remove the upper triple clamp with the handlebar and set aside.

Protect the vehicle and its attachments from damage by covering them.

Remove steering head bearing
–
Remove the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.

Main work
–
Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage, and grease.
High viscosity grease (

Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
–
Mount the upper steering head bearing
–
Mount washer

Alternative 1
A new steering head bearing is used.

Mount and tighten nut
