Measure the air gap between the oil
level and the rim.
THE SLEEVE MUST BE PERFECTLY UPRIGHT IN ORDER
TO MEASURE THE CORRECT OIL LEVEL. THE OIL LEVEL
MUST BE THE SAME IN BOTH STANCHIONS.

AP8140149 Protection for fitting operations
Characteristic
Oil level (from sleeve rim, without the spring
and preloading pipe)
110 mm (4.33 in).
•
Insert the spring holder cap in the
sleeve.
•
Insert the preloading pipe with the two
spring guides in the sleeve.
•
Fit the spring.
