1.1.2 Method of entering end-user accessible maintenance mode

The maintenance mode functions should only be accessed by service personnel. However,
end users are allowed to use some of these functions under the guidance of service
personnel over the phone. End users can only use the functions shaded in the table
of Maintenance Mode Functions"

<Operating Procedure>
(1) Press and hold the [Home] key for approximately five
seconds while the machine is in the ready state. The
display shown on the right appears on the LCD.
(2) Press the blank field at the bottom on the LCD.

(3) Press the [*], [0], and [#] keys on the LCD in this order.
The machine enters into ready state to accept function
code entry, so press the function code you want to
execute.
(4) Each time the selected maintenance mode function is
completed, the machine returns to the ready state
automatically.
