Open the front cover. Locate the developer unit release lever 1 and turn it clockwise to the
upper position. Grasp the developer's front end as shown below and slowly draw the
developer 2 out from the printer.

Notes:
• After removing the developer, seal it in the protective bag and place it on a flat surface.
Do not place the developer in a dusty area.
• Do not place floppy disks near the developer.
