Connection of a braking resistor with simple temperature monitoring

This connection causes malfunctions. A short circuit in the braking transistor is recognized,
but it does not lead to the disconnection of the mains voltage. This connection cannot be used
without external measures, if increased fire protection is required.

Connection of a braking resistor with extended temperature monitoring

Protection in case of defective braking transistor is only available with switching off the mains
voltage. This connection must be used if increased fire protection is required.
