4.3.3 Slave Controller

The LD5200 can act as a Modbus or Bacnet IP master for other RLE leak detection devices.
Up to 127 slave devices can be connected to one LD5200. To configure the LD5200 as a
Modbus master, refer to Chapter 5, "Modbus Communication" on page 87.

Description
Use this drop down menu to access additional devices.
A fixed number, 1 - 127, used to designate the controller.
Type a descriptive label for the controller, 30 characters or less.
Designate the slave device as distance read or zone
Select a communications type for the slave device:
Disabled
EIA-485 Port1
EIA-485 Port2
EIA-485 Port3
Modbus/TCP
Modbus/UDP
Bacnet/IP
Designate the Slave ID or Device ID.
Enter the IP Address of the slave device
