3.1.3 Cabinet Mounting

There are two possibilities for mounting the inverter: through the wall mounting or flange mounting (the heatsink
is mounted outside the cabinet and the cooling air of the power module is kept outside the enclosure). The
following information shall be considered in these cases:
Surface assembly:
Provide adequate exhaustion so that the internal cabinet temperature is kept within the allowable operating
range of the inverter.
The power dissipated by the inverter at its rated condition, as specified in
8.5 on page 8-4

at the external ventilation duct.

The portion of the inverter that is located outside the cabinet has protection degree IP54. Provide an adequate
gasket for the cabinet opening to ensure that the enclosure rating is maintained. Example: silicone gasket.
