4 INSTALLING
Make a visual inspection so as to make sure no damages occurred during transportation and check the tightening
of screws and electric connections.
To install the panel, it is not necessary to provide a minimum clearance on the sides and back, whereas the
distance to open the door must be observed on the front.

4.1 MOUNTING THE PANELS ON THE FLOOR

The panels must be installed in the electric room according to the layout below. The panels must be fastened to

a concrete or metallic floor properly leveled.
After positioned on the concrete floor, The AFW900 must be anchored) with 4 anchor bolts 3/8" x 3" at the
couplings between the columns, but only two diagonally.
The details for fastening to concrete and metallic floors can be seen in
Figure 4.1 on page
23.
A cable channel must be provided below the floor or above the panels in the room where they will be installed (for
cable entry/exit by the bottom or top door).
When the panels are definitely fastened to the base, remove the internal shipment brackets, if any.
