Install

brake
arm
aligning
the
punch marks
of the
arm
and
the
brake
cam.
Install
the
brake
arm
pinch
bolt
and
tighten the nut securely.
Install
the
brake
shoes and
springs.
Install
the
brake panel
Into
the
wheel hub (page

Install
the rear
wheel (page
13-81.
SHOCK ABSORBER
REMOVAL
Support
the
motorcycle
securely using
a
hoist or
equiva-
lent.
Remove
the
upper
and
lower
mounting
bolts
and
shock
absorber.
INSPECTION
Visually inspect the
shock absorber
for
damage.
Check
the:
—
Damper
rod
for
bend
or
damage
—
Damper
unit for
deformation
or
oil
leaks
—
Upper and
lower
joint
bushings
for
wear
or
damage
Check smooth
damper
operation.
CAUTION
•
l)n
not
disassemble
the
shock
absorber.
Replace
the
shock absorber
if
any component
is
damaged.
