ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Install
the
left
footpeg/gearshift linkage
assembly,
and
install
and
tighten the
mounting
bolts.
Install
the
gearshift
arm
to
the spindle aligning the
punch
marks.
Install
and
tighten the
pinch
bolt
to the specified torque.
TORQUE:
10
N
m

kgfm,

Ibfft)
Connect
the following connectors:
—
Ignition
pul6e
generator connector
—
Exciter
coil
connector
—
Neutral switch
connector
—
Alternator
connector
Connect
the
crankcaso breather tube
to
the
engine.
Install
the
engine
ground
wire
and
tighten the
bolt.
Connect
the clutch cable to the
clutch
arm
and
bracket.
Install
the
spark plug
caps.
Install
the following:
—
Exhaust system (page
2-4)
—
Carburetor (page
5-11)
—
Seat/fuel
tank (page
2-2,
3)
Fill
the crankcase with the
recommended
engine
oil
(page
3-9).
Adjust the
clutch lever free
play (page
3-18).
