engine

enclosed
area.
The
exhausl
contains
poisonous carbon
monoxide
gas
that
may
cause
loss
of consciousness
and
lead
to
death.
NOTE
•
Inspect
and
adjust the
idle
speed
after
all
other
engine
maintenance
items have
been performed and
are
within
specifications
•
The
engine
must be
warm
for
accurate
idle
speed
inspec-
tion
and
adjustment.
Warm
up
the
engine
for
about
ten
minutes.
Turn
the
throttle
stop
screw
os requirod
to
obtain the
speci-
fied idle
speed.

Check
the
tubes
between
the
fuel tank,
EVAP
canister,
EVAP
purge
control valve
and
carburetor
for
deterioration,
dam-
age
or
loose connections.
Check
the
EVAP
canister
for
cracks or other
damage.
