Configuring and Viewing IPv6 Multicast Route Information

Beginning in Privileged EXEC mode, use the following commands to
configure static IPv6 multicast routes on the switch and to view IPv6
multicast table information.

Purpose
Enter global configuration mode.
Enable IPv4/IPv6 multicast routing.
Create a static multicast route for a source range.
source-address/prefix-length
multicast data source.
rpf-address
— The IPv6 address of the next hop towards
the source.
vlan-id
— If the
the VLAN interface must also be specified. If the
address
is a global address, then specifying the VLAN
interface is not required.
preference
— The cost of the route (Range: 1–255).
Exit to Privileged EXEC mode.
View a summary or all the details of the multicast table.
View the multicast configuration settings such as flags,
timer settings, incoming and outgoing interfaces, RPF
neighboring routers, and expiration times of all the entries
in the multicast mroute table containing the
value.
