Start timer
Task Manager can start or stop any of its 16 timers. When a timer is started, it
is re-initialised, then it begins to count down, beginning at the time set in
Configure > Task Manager > Counters and Timers. When it has counted
down to zero, it expires. You can create tasks that are executed when a timer
expires.
Stop timer
Task Manager can start or stop any of its 16 timers. When a timer is stopped, it
ceases to count down, so it does not expire. If it is re-started, it starts counting
down again from the length of time set in Configure > Task Manager >
Counters and Timers. You can create tasks that are executed when a timer
expires.
TM channel profile selection
TM channel profile selection actions can enable, disable, or toggle the TM
channel profile system flag. This lets you specify whether channel profiles are
selected by Task Manager or by the channel table.
When the base station enters Run mode, the flag is disabled.
When the flag is disabled, the channel profile is specified by the entry in the
channel table for the current channel. Task Manager actions selecting the
channel profile have no effect.
When the flag is enabled, the channel profile is under the control of Task
Manager. The channel profile selected by the channel table is not used. If there
are no Task Manager tasks selecting a channel profile, the Default channel
profile is used. If a Task Manager action selects a channel profile, that profile is
used. The Advanced Profiles and Task Manager feature license is required.
Example
IF Base station in Run mode THEN Enable TM channel profile
selection
IF Digital input 01 active THEN Select channel profile (Ch prof 2)
TM signalling profile selection
TM signalling profile selection actions can enable, disable, or toggle the TM
signalling profile system flag. This lets you specify whether signalling profiles are
selected by Task Manager or by the channel table.
When the base station enters Run mode, the flag is disabled.
When the flag is disabled, the signalling profile is specified by the entry in the
channel table for the current channel. Task Manager actions selecting the
signalling profile have no effect.
When the flag is enabled, the signalling profile is under the control of Task
Manager. If there are no Task Manager tasks selecting a signalling profile, the
Default signalling profile is used. If a Task Manager action selects a channel
profile, that profile is used. The Advanced Profiles and Task Manager feature
license is required.
Example
IF Base station in Run mode THEN Enable TM signalling profile
selection
