Intercept: This function must

be requested in advance from
your network operator. By
requesting this function during
a call the telephone number of
the caller is identified in the
exchange.
DTMF post-dialling: By acti-

vating touchtone dialling (also
called DTMF dialling) you can
use special services, e.g. remote
access to an answerphone or
use of a voicebox. Touchtone
dialling can be deactivated
again by renewed menu call
up/key press or by ending the
call. If you often postdial digits
with touchtone dialling, you
can set your telephone to auto-
matic changeover.

Functions"
1 Room Monitoring
This menu item can be used to
switch the room monitoring
function on or off. When room
monitoring is active the tele-
phone's microphone can be
switched on by calling the tele-
phone's second number, with-

out a special information tone
being emitted. This feature can
be used in hotels, for example,
for baby monitoring.
2 Relay Connection
The relay connection is used as
an additions adapter on the ter-
minal. The adapter is designat-
ed '

If this adapter is connected to
an OpenPhone 63 or 65 , the
option exists, under the item
Settings/Peripherals/Additions
Adapters, to select a
device/function to be operated
with this adapter. The following
devices can be used for the
relay functions:
Door display
If this function is active, connec-
tion contact is activated as soon
as a line is seized.
Tape-recording
If this function is active, a key
can be programmed to enable
tape-recording equipment to be
switched on or off during a call.
