telephone number, DESTINA-
TION key or direct call key with
signalling, but the line is busy
and you still want to speak to
them urgently, you can use
"call-waiting". If you have called
the subscriber on a partner
direct call key, the call is briefly
signalled even when the line is
busy. The call-waiting function
is then not possible.
Call intrusion: Terminals

(mainly attendant terminals)
can be authorised to intrude on
existing calls of another sub-
scriber.
If you intrude on a subscriber,
the latter first hears an intrusion
tone and is then connected to
you. The subscriber intruded
upon remains connected to the
other party, but the latter can-
not hear you or speak to the
other subscriber, only hear
them. Once you end this call the
original call state is restored.
Please note: Calls cannot be
transferred during call intrusion.
In addition, intrusions cannot
be made on conference calls,
hunt groups and when call or
call intrusion protection has
been activated.
