Taking a Call

By Going Off-Hook or
Pressing a Key
Normal Calls
A/g Go off-hook or press the call
key on which the call is signalled.
(hands-free).

Calls during another Call

On the same call key
C You are on a call and briefly hear
the call-waiting tone and see the
call on the display:
g Press the call key on which you
are speaking. Your first call is held.
You are connected with the caller.
t Press the disconnect key to
terminate the current call.
g Press the call key again.
C You are connected with the wait-
ing subscriber.
On another call key
C You are on a call, briefly hear the
discrete tone and see the call on the
display:
g Press the flashing call key and
your first call is held. You are now
connected to the caller.
Making a Call
t Press the disconnect key to
terminate the current call.
g Then press the call key for the
waiting subscriber. (LED and arrow
symbol flash slowly).
C You are reconnected with the
first subscriber.
Menu Card "Actions" for
Incoming Calls
Briefly press Menu card key m,
then select ...
If you telephone is in a pre-
Pick-up :
set pickup group, you can pick up
waiting calls within that group.
After entering the
Direct pick-up:
telephone number you can take
calls from any other telephone.
Selecting this function
Call divert:
means you can divert a call to
another subscriber. Select the menu
item, enter the destination and
press the OK key o.
After entering the
Announcement:
telephone number you can make an
announcement on another system
telephone.
