Menu Card "Messages"

Message Waiting
Telephone numbers of other
feature terminals or external
computers can be noted in the
message waiting list
telephone (MW list). This signals
that the other subscriber has a
message for you and would like
to be called back urgently. If
such an entry exists, the info
Key i LED flashes. Each new
entry is signalled with a short
ring. You have the option to
deactivate the ringer. Up to ten
entries can be stored in your
list. Additional entries delete
the oldest entry at that time,
with the most recent entry
always occupying the first line.
Whilst consulting the list you
can call these numbers back
directly and where necessary
use the C Key c to delete
specific entries.
By pressing the OK key o
another menu appears. Select
, if you want to call the sub-

scriber who sent you the mes-
sage. Select
Answer
to send a message to the sub-
scriber who sent you the mes-
sage, or select Info to view the
full message text and the time
of receipt.

E-mail
This function is set up by your
system administrator and is
Features and Menu Cards
of your
, if you want
only available on selected tele-
phones. You can send and
receive e-mails over the Inter-
net.

Diagnostic Call
This function is set up by your
system administrator and is
only available on selected ter-
minals. You can programme this
function on a function key and
then receive system problem
reports on this key (e.g. no
paper in the printer). System
problems are signalled with a
ringing tone and on the display.
Only by pressing the pro-
grammed key or selecting the
menu item Diagnostic Call can
the call be displayed.

Charge Call
This function is set up by your
system administrator and is
only available on selected ter-
minals. You can programme this
function on a function key and
the subscriber call charges
incurred from external calls are
then displayed on this key. Your
system administrator can set a
lower limit above which call
charges are reported. The
charge call is signalled with a
ringing tone and on the display.
Only by pressing the pro-
grammed key or selecting the
menu item Charge Call can the
call be displayed.
